This is the first big story about Ushahidi in the Kenyan mainstream media since we launched (interestingly enough). Nevertheless, we are thankful to get local coverage for Ushahidi since this was an idea born out of Kenya, and that still retains a heavy Kenyan element as far as the people and volunteers behind the scenes. We hope the story will spur more local interest.
