Juliana, Program Director of Ushahidi, and Ken Banks, founder of FrontlineSMS, are speaking at a workshop on Social Media for Social Change (sm4sc) happening outside Nairobi this week that is put on by Plan International.
It was an interesting session because we had setup the FrontlineSMS and Ushahidi syncing hub beforehand. During the session, people were sending in messages, questions and thoughts on the workshop. While they were talking, I was sitting in the back “approving” and “verifying” reports in real-time so that they would be live.
Who knows, like Ken said, maybe it would be useful for people to see a combined Ushahidi/FrontlineSMS road show.
