Namibia Elections 2009 Ndesanjo Macha of Global Voices reports on efforts that went into monitoring the elections in Namibia - November 27-28th, and the use of tools such as Ushahidi and new media. The National Society for Human Rights (NSHR), used the Ushahidi platform to collect reports about fraud, undue influence, violence intimidation etc. We are excited to see this happen in Africa! If there are elections coming up in your country and you'd like to use Ushahidi, kindly check out our download page (we have some mobile applications that can be used in conjunction with the core-platform), everything is open source and absolutely free! As always, we'd love to hear from you. Know of other election monitoring or other implementations using Ushahidi? Let us know in the comments. Thank you Ken Banks for the tip via Twitter :)
