At Ushahidi, we love humanitarians. Over the years we've had the privilege of helping thousands of humanitarians around the globe — from crisismapping after the earthquake in Haiti to documenting humanitarian projects in East Timor. Our mission as an organization has been shaped, for the better, through our core goal of helping humanitarians gather, manage, understand, and present their data. This mission is what keeps us coming back to our keyboards day after day. It is the reason you can often find our team members sleeping too little and drinking coffee too much. We work hard to help humanitarians work better. So today, World Humanitarian Day, we raise our mugs to honor some of our best users and closest friends.
