Ushahidi 2.7.3 - Bug Fix Release

Keeping up with our current trend, we have another bug fix release, 2.7.3. Courtesy of xkcd A lot of great work from the community has gone into this release. This includes issues with login after a fresh install, broken video embeds when viewed over HTTPS, dual alert sign-ups, and may more. A very cool and interesting feature that you should all look out for is the upgraded timeline. It now has option to choose between bar or line, and also has point value and circle feature to know the actual time when an incident happened.

What's New?

These are the improvements included in 2.7.3:-

Fixed duplicate category import on CSV report import

Site email address added as feedback email after submit report

Documentation node for PHP error_reporting level

South Sudan and Kosovo added to country list

Fixed the username hardcoded on the geocoding service

Added language support to Nominatim

Fixed broken video embeds in reports when viewed over HTTPS

Login issues after fresh install

Dual alert sign-up

Parent category list in edit report new category

Timeline upgrade

Updated helper and scheduler to add url in sms

Classic Crowdmap will be updated to match this new release by 24th April, 2014. We will be sure to update this blog and inform you through our various community channels once the update is complete.
