Results from the MobileActive ‘08 Survey

Clyral, a South African company who does some really interesting work with Java-based mobile phone application called Mobile Researcher. It is a very intuitive and easy-to-use platform for gathering data from the field on a number of devices.

While at MobileActive ‘08, Mark and Andy used the first two days to survey a number of the attendees asking questions like:

What is your organization’s policy on open source software in your mobile work? Nearly half, 46% said that they just “use what works”.
