Hi Angie! I was forwarded this post and we are so happy that you found our MAIL map. We are a small organization based in Jalalabad Afghanistan and are training our local geek squad to use Ushahidi and Crowdmap and doing projects that can help local Afghans. We piloted this project and trained 23 brave agricultural extension officers that volunteered their time for us last year collecting this information in realtime. We are hoping to get the support from the ministry to expand this project at a national level and are applying to grants to fund this. Any advice is most welcome. We are so glad you were as excited as us about this effort! Thank you!
