Today we enabled the Facebook Social plugin on Crowdmap, our free hosting solution for the Ushahidi Platform. It adds Facebook comments to reports so Facebook users are able to have a richer experience when interacting with your deployment.
If you are a Crowdmap user, it’s very easy to enable Facebook comments on your deployment. Just log into your admin panel and click on “Addons” and then click on “Activate” next to the Facebook Social plugin.
If you run your own deployment, you can download the plugin from this link and drop the facebook-social folder in your plugins directory. From there, follow the instructions for Crowdmap users and you’re all set.
